Guerrilla Zoo presents Oro de Ojo, our 1st party of 2010! We kick start the '10s with a special carnival of mayhem!

Oro de Ojo is absurd, surreal, confusing & somewhat gloriously paniked party! Come immerse yourself in a world of psychedelic strangeness and mystical interventions inspired by the work of cult film maker Alejandro Jodorowsky.
Featuring surreal live performance, absurd art sessions, nonsensical live music and psychedelic/psychotic art installations.

Participate rather just spectate! Be a part of the event! - Dress code applies:
Fools, Alchemists, Gods of War, Merchants of Sex, Sages of the Desert, Esoteric Cowboys, Magicians, High Priestesses, The Moon, The Sun, Traffickers of Confusion, Surrealists, Absurdists, Religious Nuts, Transcenders of Space and Time, Empresses, Emperors, The Hierophant, The Lovers, Hermits, Justice Givers, Hanged Man, Death, Temperance, The Devil, and other Jodorowskian characters.

Promising psychedelic strangeness and mystical interventions, this arty party is inspired by the films of cult film-maker Alejandro Jodorowsky, who has influenced everyone from Kasabian to Bob Dylan and Peter Gabriel. The suggested dress code includes a vast variety of styles that encompasses gods of war, hermits and death, so you can be assured that this is going to be the place to have an odd time. Music comes from Agaskodo Teliverek, The Mighty Roars and Ebe Oke & The Sable Seers, while artistic performers on the bill include SybanV, Twisted Cirque, Morai Tribal Bellydance and the rather unusual bondage stylings of Esinem alongside aerial ballet and DJs.

MOTHERS AGAINST NOISE

8 pm - 2 am

Mothers Against Noise is a London-based collective of Producers, DJs and Graphic Designers peddling a distinctive brew of Dubstep, Jungle and Breakcore. Our chief aim is to put dark atmospheres and a bass’n’breaks mentality back where they belong; the London club scene. Check out our bi-monthly nights at Corsica Studios, and visit our website for a taste of what we're about: www.mothersagainstnoise.com

After our launch night went off with a bang back in October, the Mothers Against Noise Collective are pleased to welcome you back to Corsica Studios for our second party; the first of many for 2010! You can expect our signature blend of Dubstep, Jungle and Breakcore, brought to you by residents, friends and a couple of special guests over the venue's stunning Funktion 1 system!

As with last time we'll be getting started early, with the headliner before midnight so that the sensible among you can get the last train home. But you'll be gagging to stay 'til closing when you read what we've got in store for you...

Trouble Vision - January 29th

TROUBLE VISION

TROUBLE VISION returns for the first time in 2010 with a genre-defying lineup certain to blow away those winter blues and provide an opportunity to dance off some of those mince pies!

Jack Beats heads up an all star lineup with his unique and characteristic blend of all things bass, house, electro and dubstep. Taking the finest of those ingredients he cooks up an amazing musical stew which probably explains why 2009 was such a huge year for them, as they toured the world and remixed everyone from Florence & The Machine to Fake Blood.

Co-headlining Room 1 is UK garage legend MJ Cole. Having made some of the most recognizable and iconic garage tracks ever in the late nineties, 2009 saw a return to form for MJ with several awesome original productions and remixes for the likes of Zed Bias & L-Vis 1990, amongst others.

Further support in room 1 comes from a live show from Greco Roman’s bass pedaling eccentrics Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and a rare DJ set from Micachu, who having toured her album extensively internationally will be taking things back to her uk garage roots.

In Room 2 we will be going in a deeper direction, focusing on dub-infused techno, future-garage, drum & bass and funky, with Instra:mental heading the bill. Having recently won the award for ‘Best Breakthrough Prodcuers’ at The DJ Mag Best Of British Awards and with a Fabriclive compilation due for release in February, 2010 is looking to be a big year for Instra:mental. Support comes from the Hemlock Recordings label boss and bass music man of the moment Untold, while Ramp Recordings signee Shortstuff and future star Pariah bring up the rear along side residents.

Throw in the ever-popular Silent Disco with a whole host of heavily over qualified/good time DJs, some limited edition Trouble Vision t-shirts, and you have the makings of an epic party to start the year, and, if you're quick, you can grab early bird tickets starting at just £5!
