It was only a matter of time... Lydia Lunch has collaborated with Terry Edwards, James Johnston and Ian White in a variety of musical guises for the last ten years. From Hangover Hotel and Smoke in the Shadows to the most recent multimedia performances of Real Pornography and The Ghosts of Spain, the three rabble rousers from Gallon Drunk have, in a series of ever morphing configurations, collaborated with Lydia in creating psycho-ambient soundscapes in the service of propelling forth spoken word exorcisms in her decades-long prophecies of societal collapse, moral bankruptcy, and global corruption.
Big Sexy Noise is the primaeval bump, grind and holler of White’s thuggish drums, Johnston’s moronic low-tuned riffing and Edwards’ brutal organ and sax interventions led by Lunch’s take-no-prisoners vocals.  If you can imagine a diseased fusion of The Birthday Party’s Junkyard out-takes blended with Ron Asheton’s narcotic caveman guitar slop then you’ll be heading in the right direction. According to the No Wave Nostradamus herself "It's time to stop complaining, quit your crying and embrace the coming End Times. Let's fucking rock." Amen.
London's primo Japanese psych-garage warlords Bo Ningen support. Looking like four cross-dressing Aum Shinrikyo accolytes reared on Nuggets compilations and kool-aid they'll tear your head off and probably play something with it, given half the chance. These guys are on fire right now and if there's anything left of the stage and their equipment after they finish we'll be amazed. The Brute Chorus kick things off with their ramshackle blend of scuzzy gypsy blues.

Baba Yaga's Hut presents Otto Von Schirach vs Gabe Serbian ( The Locust ) April 26th

Miami bass-meister Von Schirach teams up with drummer from out there US grindcore weirdos The Locust for a one-off collaboration of power electronics and visceral supercharged beats. Fresh from their appearance at the Bangface weekender thid will be a very special meeting and splicing of musical genres.
Otto Von Schirach (half Cuban / half German) was born in 1978 in the swamp infested refugee world of Little Havana Miami. As a child his grandmother practiced Santeria and White Magic, which opened his eyes to the strange and bizarre. Otto grew up listening to Miami Bass, Gore Grind, Gangsta Rap and Afro Cuban Noise. In 1995 Otto bought his first drum machine from a crack-head just 2 blocks from his mom’s house. Right away he recognized his passion for grimy diamond soaked kick drums through distorted fuzz muck. In Early 2005 Otto sent Mike Patton (co owner of Ipecac Recordings) a 38 song CDR, Mike hand-picked and sequenced in his own mix, which Ipecac released as"Maxipad Detention" an 18 song journey into gore filled Gabber Bass Drums from beyond.
The Locust was formed in 1994. Originally a powerviolence band with a strong tendency towards synth-based passages, they have more recently stripped down much of their past sound, but retained the heavy distortion, synthesizers, screamed vocals, and intense stage presence.
Gum Takes Tooth is a single-headed beast with two bodies: a duo of Thomas Fuglesang on live trap drums, physically wired into home grown electronic instruments, bare circuit boards, tweaked, moulded and mangled in real-time by Jussi Brightmore. Frequent double drum live action with second kit from Valentina Magaletti ($hit & $hine/Buttonhead).
DJ support comes from the Mothers Against Noise collective.
