Joe Powers aka Proc Fiskal combines his ear for melodies and bulletproof beats alongside calculated realism in his samples and snips. Signed to the inimitable Hyperdub, Fiskal released the Highland Mob EP in 2017 carving a path into radio stations and internet streams worldwide. His debut album ‘Insula’ compounds his ability to design Dulcet synth tones with progressive drum work. Tempos run from 140-160 with the production button fixed at max, Powers uses sounds of the tech generation to bounce serotonin and Dopamine until you’re happy to smile.
DJ’ing regularly in the Scottish capital, Proc Fiskal is already attracting the attention of major players in the DnB and Grime Scene. Having recently supported Wiley on his Scottish tour and with dates aligning for the remainder of 2018, Fiskal continues to mine the UK’s electronic music scene.
