TRANSATLANTIC FAMILY BAND are hitting the road for a European tour at the end of May and we can’t think of a better sendoff than playing a show to all our fans and friends, with the support of Jemma Freeman & The Cosmic Something at South London’s famous Corsica Studios (2 minute walk from Elephant and Castle tube).

So come down early, bring your friends and let’s make it big…

Formed in Brooklyn, New York, the band’s name was born of founder member Ben Clarke’s travels between New York & London, whilst writing and making music. It also serves as recognition that a band can be much like a family. The band is now based in London. TFB take influence from psychedelia, captured space sounds, the music of India, the East and rock n roll. Lyrics explore what we know about life, and what we don’t.

Expect relentless rhythms, eastern drones, waves of celestial bass, blankets of swirling guitars and luscious melodies to cut the haze. Debut LP “Mirage of Perception” coming soon.

    Live in London :

“Powerful lush guitar tones and introspective psychedelic lyrics bound together with unbounded energy..” . This acclaimed album ‘Someone else to blame’ has acquired respect and play on BBC6 BBC5, Resonance radio and many more radio shows across the UK , Europe and America.

The Cosmic Something is the solo mission of Jemma Freeman, guitarist and songwriter in Bella Unions Landscapes and former front woman of art rock band The Fucks. Expect multilayered psychedelic composition!
